Artist Stephen Lyman was an unparalled wildlife painter in his lifetime with a wide range of subjects from the near extinct elusive to the backyard visitor. Inspired by the naturalist John Muir, Lyman's life's work was the discovery and protrayal of the wonders of the natural world, including campfires in different seasons, times of day and varying landscapes. Art collectors cherish his work and the new release, "Breaking the Trail," features the American bison, the subject of his "High Creek Crossing," a 2003 MasterWork Anniversary edition Sold Out at Publisher.
