Michael Parkes creates these lithographs the old-fashioned way, on limestone slabs. He uses one stone for all ten colors, grinding it down in between colors. This demanding medium doesn't allow for any corrections during the process. Parkes is a master of stone lithography, and with his collaborator, the lithographer, creates these delicate, beautiful pieces that will delight any art lover.
